Product Owner

Summary

As a Product Owner you are part of our Product organisation, and play a crucial role in guiding the development, enhancement, and successful delivery of our cutting-edge AdTech platform.

Your primary responsibilities include prioritizing the development of features, ensuring that the continuous improvement of our platform meets the product strategy and the unique requirements of our customers in various industries.

Responsibilities

• Product Roadmap: collaborate with the CPO to understand the overall product vision and strategy. Document detailed user requirements in collaboration with various stakeholders. Translate requirements into a clear and actionable product roadmap.
• Backlog Management: refine and prioritize user stories, features, and themes in the product backlog, based on business value, dependencies and other essential factors. Ensure that Product-focused teams have an adequate amount of pre-prepared features to work on.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: collaborate closely with Technology, Support, Marketing, and Commercial teams to ensure cross-organisational alignment of product strategy. Act as a bridge between various teams, facilitating effective understanding and delivery.
• Release Planning and Execution: participate in release planning sessions, ensuring that features are delivered on time and meet quality standards. Collaborate with development teams to provide clarity on requirements and priorities during the development cycle.
• Continuous Improvement: actively seek feedback from stakeholders and retrospectives to identify areas for improvement. Iterate and optimize product development processes for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
• Communication: effectively communicate product goals, priorities, and progress to both internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with other product owners to craft compelling product narratives for marketing and sales teams.
• Agility: follow agile and lean ways of working with focus on continuous improvement and effective change facilitation, closely aligned with your team and stakeholders. Our key values: Alignment, Transparency, Respect, and Relentless Improvement.

• Senior level professional experience as a Product Owner in the software industry.
• Familiar working according to Agile principles, and product road maps.
• Strategic mindset with ability to align product development with overarching business goals.
• Leadership qualities to inspire and guide teams toward common goals and objectives.
• Excellent English and Dutch communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey the product roadmap to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Capable and motivated to create and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• You have a drive for continuous improvement & learning.
• You believe in the strength of working according to Agile Manifesto.
• You understand different cultural backgrounds and ideally have experience in working with remote teams.
• Motivated to work from our offices in Gentbrugge two full days per week.
