adhese builds smart adtech solutions for a cookieless future from its offices in Ghent (Belgium) and Wroclaw (Poland). The adhese platform enables media owners to monetize their media inventory and first-party data, and facilitates advertisers to reach their audiences efficiently in a simple way.
The company is growing steadily and is seeking to strengthen its Wroclaw team with several experienced software engineers with independent status (B2B).
Summary
As a QA Automation Engineer you are part of our Technology organisation and ensure the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge AdTech platform through meticulous testing.
You will be part of an self steering team where your primary responsibilities include executing manual and automated tests, conducting regression testing, performing ad-hoc testing to identify and report unexpected issues.
Responsibilities
Manual testing: conduct exploratory testing in order to provide reliable estimates of the current state of the software and new features.
Defect Reporting and test documentation: document, track, and communicate issues, providing detailed information for developers to facilitate quick resolution. Document performed tests as valuable references.
Domain Driven Testing: together with Product Owners and Developers you help them in describing the (technical) requirements & acceptance criteria of the features that create value. This information drives your testing.
Regression Testing: conduct scripted regression tests to validate that new features and enhancements do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
Test Automation: design, implement and maintain scripted and contract tests using good coding practices.
Performance Testing: conduct performance testing to ensure the platform can handle sufficient loads and meet performance requirements.
Continuous Improvement: actively participate in process improvement initiatives, incorporating the latest testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Job requirements
Senior professional experience as a QA Automation Engineer in the software industry.
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools and processes.
Proficiency in test automation frameworks and scripting languages, Playwright, Postman, Jmeter, Zephyr (Jira), Git.
Familiar with software development and quality assurance processes and best practices.
Experience in testing of APIs including security & authentication/authorization mechanisms.
Familiar working according to Agile/Scrum principles, and believe in the strength of working according to Agile Manifesto.
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Solid communication skills in English.
Capable and motivated to maintain comprehensive documentation.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Willing to work from our offices (hybrid) two full days per week.
